Sports buffs can engage in soccer, volleyball, cycling, tennis (6 floodlit courts), a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course, and aerobic sessions. All sports are free of charge to residents except for the rental of bicycles. A unique ecotourism program includes mountain biking and an extensive and complete selection of excursions like trekking and riding circuits for you to explore the islands.  

Water-skiing, sailing, kayaking, pedal boat trips and the amazing catamaran cruises are just a few of the water sports you can engage in. There are two swimming pools and three different beaches to choose from depending on your mood. There is the spectacular lagoon with its immaculate white sand beach; a wide stretch of smooth water for water sports like water skiing; and for those who want to keep it private, a wild beach at the tip of the peninsula. All water sports are free of charge except for diving and catamaran cruises.

You can make a come-back in your hometown as a qualified sailor through the Sailing club. The superb Marine Park of Blue Bay, with its unspoiled marine life, is perfect for diving or snorkelling with our Diving Centre affiliated to PADI-National Geographic. Shandrani is also an open window onto the Southern islets: l’île de la Passe, l’île aux Flamands and l’île aux Aigrettes which preserves the endemic fauna and flora with the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation.
